Non-Profit
Garden State Growth, a new organization, launched with the purpose of making the state of New Jersey a better place to live for all.
The visual goal is to come across as open, trustworthy, and collaborative. As a hub of information, Garden State Growth focuses on improving transit, education, housing, legal and social rights, and healthcare.
The final logo design beautifully represents New Jersey's state flower, the common blue violet. By transforming it into a geometric form, the logo not only captures the essence of the flower but also creates versatile shapes that can be woven throughout the branding, symbolizing growth and unity.
The website calls back to the flower as a point of inspiration for the image shape and lead designs to tie unity back in. As a whole, the website is welcoming, with the goal of being easy to understand, to get users on board and excited to learn more. A common pain point for non-profit sites is that it takes too much work to understand their goals. We worked together on content to combat and clarify this common issue.
